The Lynchburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority (LRHA) gives notice that our Public Housing Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy is available for public review and comment for a 45-day period. Beginning on November 7, 2022, the public may review these documents at our Administrative Office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday or online at lynchburghousing.org. The Lynchburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority (LRHA) gives notice that our Flat Rent Schedule for Public Housing has been updated and is available for public review and comment for a 30-day period. Beginning November 14, 2022, the public may review these documents at our Administrative Office between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. LRHA administers the Public Housing program in conformance with all applicable federal, State and local regulatory requirements.
The Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP) is required by HUD. The purpose of the ACOP is to establish policies for carrying out the programs in a manner consistent with HUD requirements. This ACOP is available for public review.
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will substantially increase inspections of assisted properties and units on June 1st, 2021 to help ensure the overall health and well-being of HUD-assisted households. An inspector from HUD may inspect your home soon. Residents will be notified in advance by property management of their inspection date and time.
